. 1 . We think we can handle it, and hold ourselves accountable…but it’s truly next to impossible. Habit change is a tricky business, and you have to overcome a lot of past programming to get new habits to stick. Will power alone is rarely enough to overcome that deep rooted behavior.
That’s where an accountability partner comes in. Someone who hold you to the highest vision of yourself is crucial in getting past all of your past programming and habit loops. So, we thing we’ll get our spouse or gym buddy to hold us accountable. But, that rarely works either. Friends and Family are not very good at holding you accountable. This is for various reasons. For starters, your family has a vested interest in your happiness. This is because they love you, and don’t want to see you suffer or struggle. Family members will always give you a way out.
Your friends are even worse accountability partners, because they are basically dealing with all of their own nonsense. They don’t have time to effectively and objectively take on your nonsense, too. They have all the problems you have. They struggle with the balance of work, family, responsibilities, and health just as much as you do. Asking them to help you stay accountable while they are struggling with the same issues is not optimal.
That leaves us to a professional coaching situation. Hiring a coach is by far the best option when it comes to having total accountability. A coach is professionally trained to deliver the ques and support you need to stay on track. Plus, they have an objective interest in your success. Your needs are never going to take a back seat to a coaches personal feelings.
But, here’s the problem for many people. 1-on-1 coaching can be expensive, and it’s not right for everyone.
That’s why I created the Accountability BFF program. This new program gives you everything you need to follow through on your healthy weight loss goals and never fall off track, get stuck, or quit in frustration again.
The “BFF” in Accountability BFF doesn’t mean “Best Friend Forever”. Instead, it represents a 3 phase accountability formula that I use in this program to keep you on track and crushing your weekly goals and tasks.
B = Build: It’s imperative that you BUILD your success by creating realistic goals you can achieve and maintaining consistency with the right kind of accountability.
F = Follow Up: Everyone can create a plan, however. But, do you have the right motivation to FOLLOW UP on the steps to reach your goals?
F = Finalize: Every victory you have (no matter how small) must be celebrated and FINALIZED, so that you can use that momentum to move on to the next task or set of goals.
